Meet Katie
Kathryn W. Yeaton, a native of Manchester, Connecticut, has developed a passion for visual storytelling over the past 15 years. With a diverse portfolio encompassing documentary, landscape, and portraiture, Katie’s work reflects her dedicated pursuit of capturing the world around her.
In 2016, Katie first gained national recognition for her landscape photographs from Iceland and the American Southwest. Her imagery has been published by outlets such as the Huffington Post, TODAY.com, Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography, and Landscape Photography, as well as featured in various books and international newspapers.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Katie is an avid gardener and a member of the University of Rhode Island Master Gardener program. She volunteers her time and photography skills to support various garden-related non-profit organizations.
Also the founder and owner of Brave Hearts Photography, a documentary wedding and family photography studio, Katie brings her expertise and artistic vision to capture the intimate and heartfelt moments of people’s lives. Through her images, she weaves narratives that stand as timeless testaments to love, joy, and connection.
Currently, Katie resides in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, with her husband, son, and two rescue dogs.
