Chasing Winter: Escaping Spring on a Road Trip to Canada

As hints of spring began appearing around our home in Rhode Island, my family was still eager to hit the slopes. Determined to chase winter a little longer, we embarked on a journey north to Tremblant, Canada. Our destination promised snow-covered vistas, even as the season changed elsewhere. As we ventured northward, a flurry of birds seemed to race us, hastening toward their own destination. Leaving behind the earthy tones of our familiar surroundings, we exchanged them for the snowy landscapes of Vermont. Crossing the border, we braved blinding snowstorms en route to Montreal, until we finally arrived at our destination.
